Being a long-term bachelor and an active pickup artist is not for everyone. Many dabble, drop out, settle down or run for the hills to focus on their “inner game.” The majority of daygamers get a girlfriend, switch to monogamy and eventually get married. Very few remain single, year after year, and keep cold approaching.
In my Black Sheep series of posts I explain why I’m in it for the long haul and answer the most common objections to being a long-term player. You’ll be lonely. It’s a shallow existence. You’ll be unhappy. What about kids?
I’ve spoken before about why I’m not “retiring” from daygame pickup for at least another decade, until I’m 50 years old. Even after that I hope to still be out there approaching – I know of eight daygamers right now who are 50+ and successfully gaming on the streets across the world.
No marriage. No kids. No monogamy. Being a pickup artist is the path I’ve chosen and I’ve gone all in. As the saying goes, you can’t be half a gangster.
